In the heart of the Judean desert between Arad and Masada overlooking the great canyons of Wadi T’zelim and Wadi Rahaf, lays the Kana’im valley – a most beautiful and untouched nature reserve. Here the ancient Israelite experience is being reconstructed. It is a green oasis shaded by palm trees and crowned with biblically inspired gardens called Kfar Hanokdim.
The only inhabitants here are the Bedouins, those desert dwellers living in their tents and herding their goats, sheep and camels as they have done for centuries.
In this magic place, facing desert views, nestled between palm trees, gardens and hills, camels and donkeys you will feel as one of the angels visiting Abraham`s tents.
Much thought and imagination were put in to creating an authentic Bedouin oasis, with buildings of natural stone, lamps made of salt crystals from the nearby Dead Sea, wooden furniture decorated with iron art work, colorful fabrics constructed with stone tools all contributing to the magic of Kfar Hanokdim.
Kfar Hanokdim, surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Judean desert, offers relaxed desert hospitality, a real break from daily life for short and long terms, eco teambuilding options and workshops using the unique surroundings, donkey and camel ride as well as the unforgettable traditional Bedouin theme dinners for the group of all sizes and budgets.
The Bedouin hosts, dressed in white Jalabiyas, welcome the guests and invite them to sit on soft, comfortable mattresses. The guests are being served by rich and various homemade buffet dinner in the best traditions of the Bedouin hospitality.
