The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) - for entrepreneurs only - is a dynamic, global network of more than 8,000 business owners in 40 countries. Founded in 1987 by a group of young entrepreneurs, EO is the catalyst that enables entrepreneurs to learn and grow from each other, leading to greater business success and an enriched personal life. Eshet have handled several YPO, WPO and CEO delegations to Israel.
The delegation started the tour in Caesarea, once the largest city in Judea. On the ruins of an ancient anchorage, Herod built a splendid port, which he dedicated to Augustus Caesar. A 3000 seat Roman theatre with wonderful acoustics is still used today for summer concerts. The remains of the Crusader city, the Hippodrome, and Byzantine street with the Roman Aqueduct are also part of the archaeological finds at the site.
After a lunch at Helena’s Sea food restaurant the delegation went to Nazareth. In Nazareth, the delegation visited the Church of Annunciation and the Blessed Cave – the site where the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. View May and Joseph’s house. Next stop was Tel Aviv for an overnight stay.
The second day started with a private visit to Masada – an UNESCO World Heritage Centre. The Masada, Hebrew for fortress is situated atop an isolated rock at the western end of the Judean desert. It overlooks the Dead Sea. Masada was the palace of King Herod.
The next started with a tour in Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and a holy city to the three major Abrahamic religions— Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Jerusalem is rich in archeological sites sacred to these three major religions with 5000 years of history.
The last day, included a visit to Bethlehem, to the church of Nativity in the Heart of Bethlehem, which marks one of Christianity’s most sacred sites – the birthplace of Jesus Christ. The church is built over a grotto where the Virgin Mary is said to have given birth to Jesus. Christians have venerated the site since St. Justin Martyr identified it as the site of Jesus’ birth in the second century. It is the oldest Church in the Holy Land still in use and one of the oldest Churches in the world.
On the same day, the delegation proceeded for High Tea at King David Hotel with Israel President Shimon Peres. Shimon Peres - the eighth Prime Minister of the state of Israel, Nobel Prize winner for peace and President of Israel since 2007. President Peres is known for his efforts to push and support young entrepreneurs. He is very clear that Israel can help change the world and make it a better place.
